Luminous version of the 2012 vintage. The 2012 vintage is considered a particularly good vintage for Dom Pérignon, partly due to the excellent weather conditions in the Champagne region that year. Spring started cool, but the summer was warm and sunny, resulting in grapes that ripened well with a good balance between sugar and acidity. This gave the wine sufficient structure, but also the necessary freshness and liveliness.

As with other Dom Pérignon vintages, the 2012 Vintage is made from the two classic grape varieties of the Champagne region, namely Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These grapes contribute to the power, depth and rich fruitiness of the champagne. These grapes come mainly from the best vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne, where the grapes can ripen well.
