The Clos du Mesnil is a walled vineyard of only 1.84 hectares, which has been protected from outside influences since 1698. The 2008 harvest took place on 18, 20 and 21 September, and resulted in 13,160 bottles and 500 magnums. The cool and dry climate that year allowed for a slow and even ripening of the grapes, resulting in a champagne of exceptional quality
