"The 2014 season in Champagne was marked by unpredictable weather, with heat waves, drought followed by cold, rainy periods. The grapes developed well in these conditions and the contrasting weather allowed the freshness of the grapes to be preserved. Krug Grande Cuvée 170th edition is a blend of 195 wines from 12 different years, the youngest dating from 2014 and the oldest from 1998. The final composition comprises 51% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay and 11% Meunier"
