"The R de Ruinart Brut from the first established champagne house is the most important expression of the House's characteristic fresh, floral style. The chardonnay shines with a powerful presence. Cellar master Frédéric Panaïotis ensures that this non-vintage champagne remains true to its origins and shows the mineral clarity that Ruinart is known for."

"A blend of 40% Chardonnay, 50-55% Pinot Noir and 5-10% Meunier, the grapes used to make the R of Ruinart come mainly from the chalky Côte des Blancs, famous for its Chardonnay, and the Marne Valley, where Pinot Noir and Meunier grow and add a sweet fruitiness to the Champagne. The cellar master also adds 20-25% of reserve wines from the two previous years."
