Beautiful expression of the most privileged vineyards of Barbaresco to which he owes his noble character. Bright garnet red color with a nice depth and darker hues. Fine, delicate nose with hints of raspberries and cherries accompanied by spicy notes such as green pepper and cinnamon. Full, dry taste with remarkable finesse. Balanced structure that culminates in a long, tasty finale.

Versatile companion of meat dishes, roasted or grilled meat, game, Pasta with meat sauces and medium-aged cheeses.

climate

The climate of Barbaresco is classified as warm and temperate with regular and sometimes a lot of rainfall. Rain falls regularly even in the driest month. Both the mountains and the Mediterranean sea leave their mark on the region.

soil

South-east oriented vineyards at an altitude of 230-260m. The "white" grounds of Barbaresco, dominated by limestone and with layers of clay here and there. Compact bottom that allows the wine to achieve a nice structure.

vinification

Harvested by hand in small baskets. After careful pressing, the juice is fermented in large stainless tanks at temperatures between 28-30°. Maceration on the skins for 12-13 days with regular pumping. Afterwards the wine rests for 7-8 months in large Slavic oak barrels. A year after the harvest, the wine is bottled and remains in the bottle for another 5-6 months.
