Grilled or roasted meats, such as game, lamb, smoked duck breast and even some hearty tasting cheeses.
- climate
-
Maritime climate through the Atlantic ocean. The warm Gulf Stream and Gironde act as a heat regulator and temper the climate. This ensures mild winters, warm summers, and a long, sunny fall. The forests of the Landes protect the vineyards against the cold sea breeze.
