
Beautiful, dark ruby red color. Exuberant nose with aromas of cassis and other forest fruits. The mouth confirms the deliciously full taste. Red fruit with impressions of tobacco, leather and a fine point of coffee. Rich, balanced and velvety style with a lot of character. Deliciously long and balanced finale.
Delicious with a nice piece of red meat, lamb or duck fillet with truffle and garlic. Also try with pastries with raspberries.

Maritime climate with mild, wet winters. (Sometimes with heavy rainfall) Summers are moderately warm with many hours of sunshine which ensures optimum ripening of the vines.

72% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. Hand-picked. The grapes are fermented separately under controlled temperatures in concrete vats. Afterwards the blend is made and the wine remains for at least a year in new French oak.
