The most awarded Macedonian winery. Winners at Decanter World Wine Awards 2013 of the Gold Medal and Regional Trophy for Best Red Wine in Central & Eastern Europe. Founded and first vines planted in 2004, Kamnik had his first harvest in 2008 and it's first awards in 2009. In 2014, the production capacity increased up to 120 000 liters. Authentically Macedonian, the Kamnik winery expresses the greatness of the ancient Macedonian traditions, spirits and soil, in a truly contemporary wine style. Blending past and future, traditions and the sophisticated state-of-the-art approach, nature and science, challenges us to find the most captivating wine tastes. 100% Chardonnay. Beautiful light yellow-green color. Lightly toasted nose with hints of pineapple, nectarine, brioche, and a fine touch of wood shavings. The wood and fruit are perfectly balanced. The finish is measured and noble, ending with a refreshing touch of citrus.

The wine is marked with a brilliant and tender haylike yellow color. The charm of this wine is revealed through its elegant and sensual aroma, typical for the variety. The fruit aromas of peach and tropical fruits prevail and are complemented with spicy undertones of white flowers and elder. The taste is medium-bodied, with a nice, harmonious freshness and with a long fruity and spicy aftertaste.

A dry red wine produced as a blend from carefully selected grapes in our vineyards from the distinguished varieties: Vranec (40%), Merlot (40%) and Carmenere (20%). The wine is characterised with a ruby red color. The aroma is complex; the dominant fruity-spicy character reveals ripe morello cherries complemented with discrete vanilla undertones. The taste is full-bodied, with a velvety soft structure and with a long aftertaste.

The aging in barriques gives this wine a complex nose that reveals fruity and spicy tones, with dominant prunes complemented with hints of vanilla and coffee. The palate of this full-bodied wine is well developed and elegant, abundant in soft and integrated structure. The liquorice and chocolate aftertaste is long and pleasant.
