Elegant ruby red. Delicate bouquet of violets, red fruit, and cedar. Silky and harmonious on the palate, with ripe tannins, a refined oaky note, and a long, floral finish typical of Margaux.

Atlantic climate; 2016 was an exceptionally great year in Bordeaux: a cool, wet spring followed by a warm, dry summer, with a perfect late summer that produced ripe grapes with plenty of freshness.

soil

Deep gravel and pebble soils with a sub-layer of clay and limestone, typical Margaux: finesse, elegance and aromatic refinement.

vinification

Traditional vinification in stainless steel, with careful extraction to preserve finesse. Aging for 12–14 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new.
