Château Confidence de Margaux is a small estate in the Margaux appellation (Médoc, Bordeaux), with a vineyard of just a few hectares and a production limited to tens of thousands of bottles per year. The project was founded by Dominique Befve, former technical director at major names such as Château Lafite Rothschild, Duhart-Milon, and Château Lascombes. His experience translates into wines that perfectly embody the refined and elegant Margaux style. Vinification is carried out with care and precision, followed by aging in French oak barrels, some of which are new, to impart structure and complexity without overpowering the fruit. The wines display a bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, and raspberry, with floral notes of violet, subtle spice, and nuances of chocolate and vanilla. On the palate, they combine ripe fruit with silky tannins, a mineral freshness, and a long, balanced finish. Château Confidence de Margaux is a “boutique” Margaux that combines finesse and modern craftsmanship, and can be enjoyed both young and after several years of bottle aging.
