Deep ruby red, aromas of black fruit, cassis, spice, and subtle vanilla. Firm yet silky on the palate, with ripe tannins, good freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.

Atlantic climate, 2016 was an exceptionally balanced year with a warm, dry summer and a perfect late summer that ensured optimal ripening.

soil

Gravel-rich and limestone-clay soils, well-draining and typical of the Médoc, with excellent conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

vinification

Selective harvest, vinification in stainless steel and concrete tanks, followed by maturation of 12–14 months in French oak barrels (with a portion of new wood).
