Château du Taillan is a historic wine estate on the outskirts of Bordeaux, owned by the Cruse family since 1896. Today, it is run by five sisters, who continue to develop the château with passion and a modern vision. Uniquely situated just a few kilometers from the city, the estate boasts impressive 16th-century underground cellars, which are classified as historical monuments. The winery is renowned for its Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, a red wine that combines elegance and finesse with structure and freshness. It also produces a crisp rosé and the white cuvée La Dame Blanche, which harks back to a local legend. Château du Taillan's wines reflect the Médoc terroir with ripe fruit, soft tannins, and a balanced character, making them both accessible young and developing depth after several years of bottle aging.

Deep ruby red, aromas of black fruit, cassis, spice, and subtle vanilla. Firm yet silky on the palate, with ripe tannins, good freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.
