The Cave of Sommières is one of the best in the Languedoc region. The quality standard here is high and meets all contemporary taste requirements. With 'Les Cépages' they present an exquisite range of individual grapes where each grape results in a wine that embodies and reflects its unique and pure character. Sommières is the smallest Cru from Languedoc. Due to its calcareous soils and many hours of sunshine, the grapes benefit from optimal conditions to produce wonderfully ripe, pure and balanced wines. Viticulture has been practiced here since the Romans. The beautiful historic town therefore exudes a rich history and is mainly known among tourists for its old medieval center and its beautiful Roman bridge that was built under the Roman Emperor Tiberius and incorporated into their logo as a symbol of the region.
